Welcome to All Peoples, Places, and Things

Hello, I'm back and I am reading the book Scopia. If you want to find out about my book then you've come to the right place. If you're chillin' that's OK too. While you're here you can feed my piranha-, I mean fish, or you can answer one of my many polls. If you're here to learn that is also OK. If you don't like LED ZEPPELIN that is not OK. So enjoy, my good peoples, places and things.

After reading my blog posts, would you consider reading this book?

The War and The Worlds

The war is between humans from the Earth and martians from Mars. The actual martian people are strange and I don't understand how the book describes them but apparently they have tentacles and this thing that shoots invisible heat rays. They are stuck in this pit that they're pod made when it crashed. The martians can't get out of the pit because our gravity is stronger an weighs them down, but that doesn't stop them. A second pod (there are 10) comes and there are giant tripods with saucer heads. I don't know if they have heat rays or not, but they must still kill people somehow. The army is useless against all four of these martians. FOUR!! Two martians and two tripods. If this happened during our time the army could nuke the martians to pieces. I don't know how they are going to stop the martians, if they ever do.

  1. Are the Martians fighting in self-defense, or did they come here looking to conquer?

  2. Erm, if we nuked Britain, regarless of Martians, I don't think they'd be too happy with us.

@Dorothea-They are looking to conquer. Earth didn't even know they existed. Remember, this is in what, 1950? They technology needed for looking at Mars effectively just isn't there.
