The book is very fast paced. Thats probably why its only 101 pages. There are also a lot of names to memorize like in Watership Down. Only Watership Down was different. It was longer so if a character wasn't mentioned for a while you forgot about them. Watership Down was similar in that it is about animals, but solely rabbits. Its different in that it was MUCH, MUCH more slower paced than animal farm.

Isaac, why is th title of the book "Animal Farm" if it is about communism? How do they relate?
ReplyDeleteThe name of the farm that they threw the farmer out of was named Manor farm. The animals changed it to animal farm. the book is basically referencing to communist Russia the whole time. at first there are 2 pigs who run the whole thing and take advantage of the other animals stupidity. The 2 pigs always disagree and it goes so far as to the one overthrowing the other with his military power. hence the Communistic/military dictatorship.
ReplyDeleteActually if I could name the book I would name it "Mocking the Motherland, Comrade"
ReplyDeleteOk, thanks Isaac.
